About Congressman Roger Williams

Roger Williams represents Texas’ 25th Congressional District and currently serves as Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Small Business.

Raised in the Fort Worth area, Williams attended Texas Christian University, where he later returned as head baseball coach. After being drafted by the Atlanta Braves, he transitioned from professional sports to business, becoming a highly successful automotive dealer and entrepreneur.

In 2005, Governor Rick Perry appointed Williams to serve as Texas Secretary of State, where he helped lead a period of unprecedented economic growth for Texas. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2012 and has since been a strong advocate for entrepreneurs, job creators, and working families.

With deep North Texas roots and decades of business experience, Congressman Williams brings practical insight and thoughtful leadership to today’s most important economic conversations.
